Adding Fitness to Your Regular Routine
While many people grapple with fitting fitness into their daily routine, the bottom line is that we all need to make fitness a healthy habit.
After all, physical activity is essential to our overall well-being...so fitness really is another key element to good health.
Consider these easy ways to fit fitness into your hectic day:
- Put working out on your calendar so you have a "real" appointment with yourself, just like you would to discuss business with a client.
- If you can't seem to find time to include your workout, do it first thing in the morning so you can start your day the right way.
- Do what you like so you look forward to working out - if you hate running, you won't try as hard to fit it into your day as something else you may prefer, such as basketball.
- Eat and sleep properly so you feel refreshed and rested for your workouts.
- Even 10 intense minutes of fitness is better than taking the day off completely - you will certainly get the benefit of working out even if it is just for 10 minutes.
